Frontiers in Energy 2022, Volume 16, Issue 6,   Pages 1000-1016 doi: 10.1007/s11708-021-0746-z

Abstract: A novel adjusting method for improving gas turbine (GT) efficiency and surge margin (SM) under part-loadfor an equilibrium running line is adopted based on the characteristic curves of the compressor and turbinedue to the increase in compressor efficiency, combustion efficiency, and turbine efficiency as wellas turbine inlet temperature, when inlet air temperature is lower than the optimal value with differentefficiency and SM can be obviously higher than other IGV openings.
